The short version: Unbilled collects nothing, because there's nowhere for it to go — the extension has no server.
Nothing. Unbilled does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or sensitive information. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no backend service.
The trials you choose to track (service name, the date you started, the estimated
billing date, and an optional cancellation link) are stored locally in your browser
using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device. Removing
a trial, or uninstalling the extension, deletes it.
On a fixed list of supported subscription websites, Unbilled reads the text of the page locally to recognize a free-trial signup so it can offer to track it. This reading happens entirely within your browser. No page content is recorded or transmitted. The extension does nothing on websites outside its supported list.
The "Add to calendar" feature generates a calendar (.ics) file on your
device that you choose to open. We are not involved in, and cannot see, anything you do
in your calendar app.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
